NYSC Postpones 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream I Orientation Course in Niger State

The Management of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced the postponement of the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream I Orientation Course for Prospective Corps Members deployed to Niger State.

According to the scheme, the postponement became necessary due to the ongoing renovation of the NYSC Orientation Camp in Paiko by the Niger State Government. The renovation follows extensive damage caused by a recent windstorm that affected the camp facilities.

NYSC said it is making urgent arrangements to secure an alternative venue for the orientation exercise. The new commencement date and other relevant information will be communicated to affected Prospective Corps Members as soon as arrangements are concluded.

The management expressed regret over any inconvenience the postponement may cause to Prospective Corps Members and their families and thanked them for their understanding, patience and cooperation.
