NOTICE OF PLANNED MAINTENANCE AT SULEJA 132/33kV TRANSMISSION SUBSTATION

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) wishes to inform the public that its maintenance crew will carry out scheduled maintenance on its 7.5MVA, 132/11kV Transformer 1 at Suleja 132/33kV Transmission Substation from 9:00am on Thursday, November 5, to 4:00pm on Friday, November 6, 2026.

The exercise will involve the decommissioning and replacement of the transformer’s existing primary circuit breaker with a new unit.

Consequently, Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC), will be unable to off-take electricity for onward distribution to customers in NNPC, Meter Works, Gawaraka, Minna Road, Dikko, Madalla, Tungan Maje, Dakwa, Suleja and environs throughout the maintenance period.

Meanwhile, customers in Jere, Tara, Sabon Wuse and environs will experience a temporary power interruption lasting approximately 90 minutes to facilitate the movement and positioning of a HIAB crane required for the maintenance work.

TCN apologises for any inconvenience this interruption will cause electricity customers in the affected areas.
