NOTICE OF ONGOING OUTAGE ON 132kV KUMBOTSO–DAN’AGUNDI TRANSMISSION LINE
The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), Kano Region, wishes to inform the public that the 132kV Kumbotso–Dan’Agundi Transmission Line was taken out of service at 10:28am on Thursday, 29th October 2026, to enable the completion of erection and stringing works on Road Crossing Tower 27 for the Dan’Agundi Flyover Road project.
The outage is expected to last until 31st October 2026. Consequently, customers of Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO) in parts of Kano metropolis and its environs will experience power interruptions.
To minimise the impact, TCN is transferring some feeders from Dan’Agundi Transmission Substation to Dakata and Rimin Zakara Transmission Substations, where applicable.
TCN apologizes for inconvenience this outage will cause customers in the affected areas.
