NUJ FCT Congress Hall Project Receives Fresh Lifeline from Bespoke Holdings
In furtherance of the ongoing partnership between the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) FCT Council and Bespoke Holdings Limited, the Managing Director of the company, Dr. Christian Olatunji, on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, visited the NUJ FCT Secretariat for an on-the-spot assessment of the ultra-modern Congress Hall currently under construction.
Dr. Olatunji and his delegation were warmly received by the Council’s leadership, with the Chairman, Comrade Grace Ike, represented by the Vice Chairman, Comrade Yahaya Ndambabo, alongside other executive members.
The NUJ executives conducted the visitors around the Secretariat, with particular focus on the Congress Hall construction site. After evaluating the level of work done and the scope of work remaining, Dr. Olatunji acknowledged the enormity of the task ahead and pledged immediate material support to fast-track the project.
He further assured the Council of sustained involvement, including technical support through the deployment of Bespoke Holdings’ engineers to work collaboratively with the project’s site engineer to ensure optimal results.
“Houses are not built on paper, but on ground,” Dr. Olatunji said. “I will delegate an engineer to the site to provide technical support because it is better to have more than one engineer on site, so they can work together with the Council’s engineer in any area of need that may arise.”
Describing the Congress Hall project as laudable, he added:
“We are happy to be part of this project. Whatever we can do at this DPC level, we will do, and later we will provide more support.”
Earlier, the Council Chairman, represented by Vice Chairman Comrade Yahaya Ndambabo, expressed deep appreciation to the Managing Director of Bespoke Holdings for the show of solidarity and support for the media.
He described Dr. Christian Olatunji not only as a real estate developer but also as a philanthropist genuinely committed to community development, noting that the provision of building materials and technical expertise would significantly enhance the speedy completion of the Congress Hall facility.
According to him, the partnership reflects a shared commitment to strengthening media infrastructure and promoting professional journalism within the FCT and beyond.
