Corps Marshal Charges Management Staff to End Complacency, Uphold Discipline Ahead of Nationwide Deployment

Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed, mni, has concluded a high-level strategic briefing with Management Staff ahead of their nationwide deployment to Field Commands, charging them to lead from the front and entrench uncompromising standards of discipline, professionalism, and accountability across all Commands.

Addressing the senior officers, the Corps Marshal delivered a firm and unequivocal message that the era of complacency within the system is over. He stressed that every Field Command must reflect operational excellence, ethical enforcement, and absolute respect for members of the public.

According to him, institutional integrity remains the Corps’ strongest asset and must be safeguarded at all times. He emphasized that leadership at the Command level should inspire confidence, enforce standards without compromise, and ensure strict adherence to established operational guidelines.

The Corps Marshal further directed the Management Staff to clearly communicate the mood and directives of Headquarters to officers and men in their respective Field Commands.
