NIMC Intensifies Nationwide Ward-Level NIN Enrolment Drive

The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) wishes to inform the general public that its Ward-Level Enrolment Drive, which officially commenced on Monday, 16 February 2026, remains ongoing and is progressing steadily across the Federation.

NIMC reiterates that the National Identification Number (NIN) is a fundamental requirement for accessing critical government and private sector services in Nigeria. The Commission therefore urges all citizens and legal residents who are yet to enrol to take advantage of this decentralised initiative by visiting the designated enrolment centres within their respective wards.

To ensure a seamless and efficient enrolment process, members of the public are advised to:

Visit the NIMC website to locate the nearest designated enrolment centre in their ward.

Cooperate fully with enrolment officials.

Provide accurate and complete information during registration.

Obtain information only from NIMC’s verified and official communication channels.
