CORPS MARSHAL ORDERS STRATEGIC INTERNAL REFORMS; DEPLOYS MANAGEMENT TEAM NATIONWIDE FOR FIELD REORIENTATION

The Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Shehu Mohammed, has initiated a strategic internal reform agenda aimed at reinforcing discipline, professionalism, and service excellence across all Commands of the Corps.

As part of the directive, the Corps Management Team has been deployed nationwide to undertake a structured field retreat and reorientation programme. The engagement is designed to recalibrate operational standards, boost productivity, and decisively address any form of incivility or unprofessional conduct toward members of the public.

The Corps Marshal emphasised that the FRSC will not tolerate actions that erode public confidence or undermine its statutory mandate.

The nationwide exercise will strengthen ethical compliance, enhance supervisory accountability, standardise enforcement procedures, and institutionalise a citizen-centred approach to operations. Commanding Officers have been directed to implement renewed performance benchmarks and ensure strict adherence to the Corps’ Code of Conduct.

In addition, the Management Team will engage critical stakeholders and the public to obtain constructive feedback on service delivery and operational conduct.

Personnel found culpable of misconduct, abuse of authority, or any act capable of bringing the Corps into disrepute will face immediate disciplinary action in line with established regulations.

The Corps Marshal reaffirmed the FRSC’s unwavering commitment to delivering professional, humane, and efficient road safety services to all Nigerians, noting that the reform initiative marks a decisive step toward consolidating institutional discipline and strengthening public

 trust.
