TINUBU’S EMERGENCE AS APC FLAGBEARER WILL CONSOLIDATE REFORMS, BOOST RENEWED HOPE AGENDA – TMV

The Tinubu Media Volunteers (TMV) has described President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s emergence as the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential flagbearer for the 2027 general election as a well-deserved victory that will further consolidate the administration’s ongoing reforms.

In a statement signed by its Chairman, Chukwudi Enekwechi, and Secretary, Segun Ogedengbe, the group said the extensive economic reforms initiated by President Tinubu since assuming office on May 29, 2023, were necessary despite the temporary hardships experienced by Nigerians.

According to the group, the long-term benefits of the reforms are already becoming evident and will ultimately translate into sustainable growth and development for the country.

TMV noted that while Nigerians have faced challenges arising from the removal of fuel subsidy and the harmonisation of the foreign exchange market, the measures were critical to restoring economic stability and placing the nation on a stronger developmental path.

The group expressed confidence that President Tinubu’s emergence as the APC presidential candidate would further strengthen ongoing achievements in key sectors, including infrastructure development, power supply, exchange rate stability, education financing through the Student Loan Fund, the Consumer Credit Corporation (CREDICORP), increased allocations to states, agricultural expansion, food security initiatives, and the rapid infrastructural transformation of the Federal Capital Territory.

It also commended the President for acknowledging the sacrifices Nigerians have made in support of the reforms, noting that his recent “Thank You All” message reflected an understanding of the challenges citizens have endured while maintaining optimism about the future.

“We are gratified that the President remains focused on delivering the Renewed Hope Agenda, which, if fully implemented, has the potential to transform Nigeria remarkably,” the statement said.

TMV appealed to Nigerians to continue supporting the Tinubu administration as it pursues its economic and developmental objectives ahead of the 2027 general election.
