TDF Urges Due Process Over El-Rufai’s Allegations

The Democratic Front (TDF) has called for restraint and adherence to due process following allegations made by former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir el-Rufai, against the Federal Government and the Office of the National Security Adviser.

In a statement signed by its Chairman, Mallam Danjuma Muhammad, and Secretary, Chief Wale Adedayo, the group said the claims regarding the alleged importation of Thallium Sulphate are serious and should be addressed through appropriate legal and institutional channels.

TDF noted that matters relating to national security require careful handling and credible evidence, urging all parties to avoid statements that could heighten public tension.

The group also referenced ongoing investigations concerning the former governor’s tenure, emphasizing that such issues should be resolved by the relevant authorities.

It called on all stakeholders to allow due process to take its course and to promote responsible public discourse in the interest of national stability.
