NYSC Announces Schedule for 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream II Orientation Course
The Management of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has released the timetable for the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream II Orientation Course.
The three-week exercise is scheduled to take place simultaneously across all 36 states of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory.
According to the schedule, the Orientation Course will commence with the reception and registration of Prospective Corps Members on Wednesday, 22 April 2026, and will continue until midnight on Friday, 24 April 2026.
The swearing-in ceremony for all Prospective Corps Members is slated for Friday, 24 April 2026.
The Orientation Course will officially conclude on Tuesday, 12 May 2026.
NYSC Management wishes all Nigerian graduates mobilized for the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream II service year a safe journey to their respective orientation camps. It also reiterated its strong advisory against night travel.
Prospective Corps Members are therefore urged to break their journeys by 6:00 p.m. and seek accommodation at designated safe locations such as Corps Members’ lodges, military formations, police stations or outposts, and palaces of traditional rulers, before continuing their trips the following morning.
