ADC Aspirant Nelson Ogbu Picks Nomination Form for Ado State Constituency Seat

A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Nelson Ogbu, has officially picked his nomination form to contest for the Ado State Constituency seat in the Benue State House of Assembly ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Ogbu obtained the nomination form at the ADC State Secretariat in Makurdi, in line with the party’s electoral guidelines and requirements.

The exercise attracted party leaders, stakeholders, supporters, and members from Ado Local Government Area, who turned out in large numbers to show solidarity and support for his aspiration.

Speaking shortly after picking the form, Ogbu expressed appreciation to party leaders, stakeholders, and the ADC executive committee in Ado Local Government for the confidence reposed in him.

He stated that his aspiration is driven by a desire to provide quality representation and grassroots-oriented leadership for the people of Ado State Constituency.

According to him, he remains committed to the ideals of selfless service, inclusive leadership, youth empowerment, and people-centred representation.

He further assured supporters of his determination to maintain close engagement with the people as preparations for the 2027 general elections gather momentum.

“With God on our side, victory is certain,” he said.
