 Empowering Youth for Global Impact: NACCIMA Entrepreneurs Join the International Youth Day Call to Action"

Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), NACCIMA Youth Entrepreneurs (NYE) organised one day Summit to mark International Youth Day today in Abuja 

The event converged different relevant stakeholders from public and private sectors to deliberate ways to support NACCIMA Youth Entrepreneurs.

In her welcome address, Amb.Dr. Sameera Abubakar Abdulahi, the National Coordinator NACCIMA Youth Entrepreneurs, said the objective of the summit is to support young entrepreneurs with mentorship, training, and opportunities for growth, networking and collaboration with the aim to connect young business owners with established entrepreneurs, investors, and other youth-led ventures.

 She added that it is meant to open up local and international markets for youth-owned businesses and encourage innovation among young people, promote startups, and reduce unemployment by creating sustainable businesses.

Speaking at the occasion, NACCIMA President, Engr. Jani Ibrahim, said NACCIMA comprises over a hundred chambers of commerce, this includes ; NACCIMA women entrepreneurs, NACCIMA Youth Entrepreneurs and others. He applaud the national coordinator of NACCIMA Youth Entrepreneurs Amb. Dr. Sameera Abubakar Abdulahi for her endeavours in pilaloting the affairs of the youths.

He maintained that NACCIMA engage in trade facilitation and enterprise development. Funding, promotion and open market for them; strengthening local chains and fostering African free trade agreement, sustainability and green growth. NACCIMA is working with national skill council to achieve this. Engr. Jani said.

He called on the government and organised private sector to support NACCIMA Youth 

As the world celebrates International Youth Day, the NACCIMA Youth Entrepreneurs (NYE) reaffirm their commitment to empowering young Nigerians with the tools, networks, and opportunities needed to thrive in business. By fostering innovation, collaboration, and resilience, NYE continues to position youth as the driving force of sustainable economic growth. Their efforts not only highlight the potential of Nigeria’s young entrepreneurs but also align with global calls to invest in youth as catalysts for transformation and inclusive development.
