Barr. Ndanusa Tasks Nigerians to take Advantage of Renewed Hope Agenda of Mr President

Nigerian have been charged to take advantage of Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Barr Veronica Safiya Ndanusa, said this in an exclusive interview with Journalists in Abuja.

Barr Veronica Safiya Ndanusa, NPOM FCIArb, is the Executive Director (ED), Lagos International Trade Fair Complex Management Board. She said the Minister of Trade and investment Dr Jumoke Oduwole MFR and the Ministry of Communication, Innovation and Digital Economy, Dr Bosun Tijani are working hand in hand to enhance the economic growths of the country. Aware of the significance of digital innovation to modern trade and investments, they collaborate to help drive goals of improved international trade and increase direct foreign investment.

She used the opportunity to highlight some of the giant strides Nigerians can take advantage of which includes: national e- commerce policy and strategy (NEPS 2023- 2027), National Talent Export Programme, (NATEP), leadership in AFCFTA, technology export and digital trade desk, driving service export growth and diversification among others.

She maintained that both ministries are scaling up digital infrastructure in both public and private sectors and are growing support for start-ups.

Barr. Ndanusa noted that her sector, Lagos International Trade Fair Complex has undergone economic revamping that has transformed and boosted business activities, leading to accelerated growth and increased revenue; creating opportunities for both local and foreign businesses.

“Today the complex is a vibrant center for industrialization, manufacturing, and trade, while collaborating with local and foreign investors.”

In the same vein, Barr. Ndanusa, who has been a Humanitarian for decades, empowering women entrepreneurs, widows, orphans and the less privileged in the society used the opportunity to speak about World Humanitarian Day. She noted that the rights of every human is important inspite of the person’s economic status.

She also stressed that the widows and less privilege should have access to healthcare delivery, sanitation, and education which are essential for a fulfilling life.

World Humanitarian Day, observed annually on August 19, holds profound significance, it is a time to honor the courage, sacrifice, and essential contributions of humanitarian workers around the globe and to shine a light on the challenges they face. The observance encourages international cooperation and collective responsibility for protecting vulnerable populations and foster global solidarity.
