HOSCON Endorses Tinubu, Akpabio for second tenure

The Host Communities Producing Oil and Gas, (HOSCON), organised National Solidarity Rally to adopt President Ahmed Tinubu come 2027, in Abuja recently.
The rally was meant to endorse Mr President for second tenure as a true leader and reformer.
Addressing the Journalists, Prince Mike Emuh, the Chairman of HOSCON, said the group has 20 reasons to re-elect President Tinubu. Pointing out economic reform, he said, he has implemented a bold reforms like the removal of fuel subsidies to reduce government expenditures and redirect funds.
Adding that Nigeria has completed the payment of a $3.4 billion loan borrowed from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), during the COVID-19 pandemic, effectively exiting the debtor list of the multilateral bank.”
“Some major projects are: Lagos-Calabar coastal highway a $20 billion 700-kilometer project which runs through 6 states, to improve cross country connectivity and trade relations.” Dr Emuh said.
In her contribution, Mrs Josephine Oduengide, National Leader, HOSCON, said the solidarity is in line with the giant strides Mr President achieved in office. These includes: poverty reduction in the Niger Delta region, initiation of major infrastructure, social investment Programmes, remarkable agricultural revamp, job creation plans, education reform and many more.
“Increased funding for education and teachers training, along with digital skills development as well as access to loan to students. Social investment Programmes, expansion of programme like conditional ash transfer to assist market women and vulnerable group”. Mrs Josephine said.
The group who declared their loyalty to President Ahmed Bola Tinubu, also pledged their support to Senator God’sWill Akpabio, the Senate President Federal Republic of Nigeria, as well as Mr Project, Nyesom Wike, the Minister of Federal Capital Territory.
